About Nimbalyst

The future is small nimble teams

We are building the workspace for teams of humans (from a team of 1 to teams of many) who work at high bandwidth with each other and with their agents.

Our mission

Empower people to work together well with agents and each other.

Our why

We want to empower people in a world of AI

  • Everything was about orchestrating agents.

We build for people and agents working together.

  • The interface was the terminal.

We build visual first, because that is how humans read fast.

  • Agents got bolted onto the old tools, one tab at a time.

We build one workspace, because that means richer context and higher bandwidth work.

  • You and your agents, alone.

Your team and your agents, together.

  • Another platform designed to lock you in.

    Open source, local files, yours.

We think the future is small nimble teams of humans working at high bandwidth with each other and their agents. Nimbalyst is the workspace for those teams.

Founders

Built by a team that has done this before

Our last company, Evergage, was acquired by Salesforce in 2020 and grew to more than $250M in ARR by 2023. We are excited to be building Nimbalyst, both the company and the product.

What Drives Us

Six beliefs that shape Nimbalyst

Visual interfaces are the highest bandwidth

Humans read images, layouts, and color faster than text. The workspace around your agents should be visual by default, not a wall of terminal output.

We are all managers of agents

The job is shifting from writing every line to directing many agents at once. A small team that directs agents well outpaces a large one that does not.

Integration produces richer shared context

Agents do better work when everyone shares the same context. One workspace beats six tabs glued together by copy and paste, and the context that helps your agent helps your teammate.

Open format. Open source. Local.

Your work belongs on your machine, in formats you can read, edit, and own. No lock-in, no surprise cloud dependencies.

Work inline as you go

Reviews, comments, and AI edits live inside the document, not in a separate tool. Iteration should stay close to the work instead of turning into a handoff.

It is your workspace. Extend and modify it.

Every team works differently. Nimbalyst is built on an extension platform so you can add the editors, integrations, and workflows you actually need.
